The Glass Jar studio is a complete full-service audio digital recording facilitylocated in Abilene, TX specializing in genres ranging from indie rock to folk acoustic and everything in between. The Glass Jar Studio strives to record albums that the artist can and will be proud of. We do not seek to change artists or make them into something they’re not. We desire to work closely with artists to give them the project of their dreams, not the project of our dreams.
Our studio A is a fully digital production facility featuring Steinberg’s Cubase 5, Presonus Studio One, Cakewalk’s Sonar 6.2 PE, Propellerheads Reason 3.0, Fruity Loops Studio edition, and we use Presonus audio for all of the interfacing. We have one main tracking room that is perfect for any tracking needs with moveable isolation walls if the sound needs to be tighter. We also have 3 smaller Isolation rooms for acoustic guitars, vocals, and guitar amps. Our control room has been treated with bass traps and high frequency treatment to ensure that we have an accurate listening and mixing enviroment. We have all the options to meet your creative needs, and we have a base of great musicians that are available for your specific project needs.
